ফরাওন তার জ্ঞানের জন্য ইউসুফ আলাইহিস সালামের প্রতি অত্যন্ত প্রশংসা প্রদর্শন করলেন। তিনি বললেন, "আমি তোমাকে আমার দেশের খাদ্যশস্যের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক নিযুক্ত করবো। তোমার জ্ঞানের ওপর আমার শ্রদ্ধা আছে।"
