যুবকদ্বয়ের স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যা দিয়ে, ইউসুফ আলাইহিস সালাম তাদেরকে বলেন যে, তাদের স্বপ্নের সত্যতা খুব শিগগিরি প্রকাশ পাবে। তিনি তাদেরকে আল্লাহর উপর বিশ্বাস রাখতে বলেন এবং নিজেকে মুসলিম হিসেবে পরিচয় দিলেন। এরপর তিনি তাদেরকে অনুরোধ করেন যেন তারা তার নাম রাজ্যের সামনে তুলে ধরেন, যাতে তার মুক্তির জন্য আল্লাহ’র কৃপা বর্ষিত হয়।
অল্প সময়ের মধ্যেই যুবকের স্বপ্নের বাস্তবায়ন ঘটে। একজন রাজা হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় এবং অন্যজন ফাঁসির দণ্ডে দণ্ডিত হয়। ইউসুফ আলাইহিস সালামের কাহিনি থেকে আমরা শিখতে পারি যে, আল্লাহ্ তাআলা দীনদার ও সৎ ব্যক্তিদের কখনো forsake করেন না। তিনি কপালের ভারতীয় কাজগুলো দেখে কাউকে নিঃস্ব করেন না বরং বিপদে পড়া বান্দাদের পাশে দাঁড়ান।
